The Qasem Amin documentation and conservation center (QADC) aims to be a new governmental institution that acts as the modern conservation awareness center that teaches pepole the modern ways to conserve and maintain their heritage buildings, at the same time registers and documentates all the information about the existing heritage buildings and do research on the modern ways of conservation, starting from Al-Anfushi, Bahary, Alexandria .
Adaptive reuse of Qasem Amin elementary school will be applied as the first main part of the project , as the school is considered as a heritage building according to (law 144/2006) because of its distinctive Andalus inspired architecture style and as its name related to a famous leading person .
An extension will be applied as the second main part. enclosing an open space between the school and the new building, the open space will be the modern awareness area that uses the Hologram technology in awareness .
